thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. is looking to hire a Senior IT Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, maintain, and improve cloud-based IT solutions, and lead cloud initiatives.
Requirements
- 4 years of work experience in a Windows, Network, or System Administration, Network Engineering, Azure or AWS Cloud Services position
- 2 years of work experience with each of the following: configuring and maintaining switches, routers, and firewalls
- 2 years of work experience with configuring and managing wireless networks
Responsibilities
- design, deploy, maintain, and improve cloud-based IT solutions, and lead cloud initiatives while mentoring junior engineers
- design, implement and maintain Cloud-based solutions including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS)
- manage and monitor Cloud resources to ensure high availability, performance, and security
- participate in strategic planning, such as developing new cloud strategies and roadmaps
- act as infrastructure engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation and/or integration new cloud-based solutions
- ensure systems accesses are compliant within company security standards
- create, catalog, and maintain technical documentation

- 10% travel both domestic and international.
- May telecommute from any location in U.S., 100% remote position.
