Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior AI & SAP Engineer to build intelligent AI agents to automate core business functions and revolutionize the SAP development lifecycle by embedding AI into code analysis, testing, and deployment.
Requirements
- 6+ years of deep, hands-on experience developing scalable, resilient systems on the SAP S/4HANA platform.
- Experience in a multi-stack integration landscape using tools like Snaplogic, SAP PI, and REST APIs.
- Demonstrated expertise in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Practical experience applying AI/ML models to solve real-world business problems.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and familiarity with common AI/ML libraries and frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in ABAP, Fiori (UI5), RAP, OData Services, and SQL.
- Comfort building high-performance, highly available, and scalable distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of intelligent AI agents to automate and optimize processes within our core SAP modules, including Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), Materials Management (MM), and Revenue.
- Own the technical design and implementation of RICEW objects, custom integrations, and extensions using ABAP, BAPIs, BADIs, and modern APIs.
- Champion the optimization of our software delivery practices, bringing greater agility and efficiency to the development process for continuous product delivery.
- Monitor system performance, proactively resolve issues, and conduct regular data quality audits to ensure the stability and reliability of our SAP environment.

- 8+ years of total experience with a mandatory BE/B.Tech degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience.
- Proven track record of delivering multiple end-to-end projects in SAP SD and SAP FI, with a strong functional understanding of O2C and R2R processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, BSAs, and technical colleagues to create consensus and a clear strategic vision.
- Mentor junior engineers and serve as a subject matter expert.
