ITEAM is looking for a professional to support SAP Ariba, a global leader in on-demand procurement, spend management, and supply-chain collaboration solutions. The role involves understanding customer needs, developing technical designs, and collaborating with teams to deliver new features and resolve complex issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience
- Experience working with SOAP and RESTful web services
- Web programming skills are a plus (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript, etc.)
- Solid understanding of databases
- Familiarity with microservices, Spring Boot, and EclipseLink
- Experience with code quality, refactoring, and applying design patterns and best practices
- Knowledge of development environments, source control, and tracking tools
Responsibilities
- Actively engage in understanding and refining customer needs and architectural requirements
- Develop comprehensive technical designs and approaches, along with precise effort estimates
- Collaborate with the team on researching and delivering new features
- Handle complex customer issues, often with minimal direct access to their environments
- Partner closely with Development and QA teams within an agile sprint framework
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with distributed teams across multiple locations
- Take part in both formal and informal discussions, including code and design reviews, as well as technical knowledge-sharing sessions
Other
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Basic experience with Bash
- Advantageous experience with XML technologies such as DOM and SAX
- JSF experience considered a plus
- Very good command of English
