Infosys is seeking a Senior Java Developer with cloud experience to interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle, delivering high-quality code and supporting implementation.
Requirements
- Java, Spring boot, Microservices development on Azure or AWS
- Spring Boot Microservices, JPA and other ORMs
- TDD approach and unit testing tools
- SPA frameworks like Angular or React or Javascript
- Python
- API Gateways
- REST Microservices and awareness about GraphQL, Websockets, etc.
- continuous deployment / continuous integration (CI / CD) technology
- package management tools like Maven, Gradle
- system design patterns
Responsibilities
- Apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design
- Play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts
- Deliver high quality code deliverables for a module
- Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty
- Develop and maintain Cloud Native applications using Java, Spring boot, Microservices development on Azure or AWS
- Familiar with developing apps in Spring Boot Microservices, JPA and other ORMs
- Awareness of TDD approach and unit testing tools

- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of either Phoenix, AZ, Hartford CT, Indianapolis, IN, Raleigh NC, Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
- This position may require travel.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of dynamic experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of Education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology Experience.
- Ability to be a part of a diverse team/ multiple stakeholder environment.
- Working in an agile environment- with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe methodologies.
- Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
- Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
