Requirements
- Proven experience (3+ years) developing data pipelines and APIs for diverse data types
- Strong database fundamentals and SQL expertise for efficient data management
- Experience developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms, preferably GCP
- Experience with GCP services (Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, Cloud Run) and Terraform
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement backend features for platform partners using Go/Java
- Build, operate, and maintain data pipelines on GCP for efficient data ingestion and processing
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot performance issues to ensure platform reliability
- Design and optimize database structures and queries for handling structured/unstructured data
- Deploy and maintain cloud-based applications with a focus on scalability and reliability
Other
- BS in a STEM field with 4+ years’ experience in Go/Java or similar strongly typed languages
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement partner requirements and system improvements
- Excellent technical communication skills and proficiency with GitHub for collaborative development
