Requirements
- Strong knowledge in object-oriented programming concepts and design
- Good understanding and experience in Java and JavaScript technologies
- Interactive filtering via visualization
- Strong data analysis and data quality assessment skills
- Client-side JavaScript technologies including AngularJS and JQuery
- SQL skills and a thorough understanding of database constructs
- Strong understanding of SDLC and proven track record of operational efficiency
Responsibilities
- Understanding business needs and converting them into technical specifications
- Leading a new team to build the application
- Developing and designing Java batch processes
- Coordinating with offshore leads to ensure all deadlines are met
- Working with the team as a process-oriented lead and adhering to the organization’s product development standards
- Advising on Design for Optimized Data Access
- Working with other development groups to understand/gain access to the new Field Desktop
Other
- 7+ years of experience in development
- Excellent communication and written skills and willingness to work across time zones
- Ability to develop and follow change management processes for consistent and maintainable versions
- Critical thinker and problem solver who has a strong base in web technologies and design concepts
- Experience with performance testing and improvement
