Wells Fargo is undergoing a multiyear transformation to build a centralized capability for storing, managing, and analyzing Financial Crimes Compliance Operations (FCO) data to meet regulatory, compliance, and risk commitments. The role aims to develop key data assets for this transformation, enabling faster delivery of program objectives and supporting regulatory, compliance, and risk commitments.
Requirements
- 7+ years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Knowledge of BSA/AML/KYC data use cases and associated data products
- Experience with development and implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) and automation solutions, including related model and control development and documentation
- Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning techniques, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning
- Familiarity with data preprocessing and feature engineering, with hands-on experience in handling large datasets and data pipelines
- Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with the latest research, tools, and trends in AI and ML
- Demonstrated strengths in strategic solutioning, planning, and secondary management, as well as cross functional collaboration
Responsibilities
- Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence strategies, objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex data platforms and utilities across multiple groups and functions
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique data product enablement initiatives and challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas of the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities and guidance to others, while adhering to set data governance and standards
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant data product solutions that are large-scale cross-functional or companywide strategies
- Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise to ensure data product solutions are built for optimal performance and design analytics applications across multiple platforms and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
- Provide expert input on new use case intake, prioritization, product roadmap definition, and other critical business processes
- Create and maintain highly complex data product roadmaps throughout the data product lifecycle with detailed specifications, requirements, and flows for data capabilities
- Design and maintain innovative data products, enabling data availability for data intelligence, analytics, and reporting
