Trend Capital is looking to improve the usability and enjoyment of their platforms for clients and partners by hiring a Senior/Lead/Principal Node.js Software Engineer
Requirements
- Familiarity with Node.js / JavaScript
- 2+ years of experience with TypeScript (or similar statically typed language)
- 2+ years of experience with SQL
- 2+ years of experience with NestJS (or similar Rails-like framework in any statically typed language)
- 2+ years of experience developing GraphQL or RESTful APIs
- Database design and implementation skills (PostgreSQL or similar)
- Strong understanding of active record or data mapper ORM (or similar)
Responsibilities
- Play a pivotal part in making platforms highly usable and thoroughly enjoyable for clients and partners
- Maintain a top quality level of code
- Develop and integrate APIs (GraphQL/REST)
- Design and implement databases (PostgreSQL or similar)
- Implement continuous integration and delivery
- Ensure observability and reliability of systems
- Perform integration and end-to-end testing
Other
- Accredited Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (preferred but not required) or equivalent demonstrated work experience
- Must be able to speak and write fluent English
- Self motivated, creative and a problem solver
- Ability to work in autonomous roles with little management or guidance
