The specific goal is to build a next-generation platform for Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) teams to empower finance professionals with enhanced modeling, consulting, forecasting, and planning capabilities, enabling smarter decision-making and more effective financial strategies.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Experience as a software engineer, with a track record of leading complex projects and engineering teams to successful delivery.
- Experience in building large-scale platforms, with deep knowledge of data quality, observability, and entitlement management to ensure robust, secure, and reliable solutions.
- Expertise in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
- Experience with the AWS platform, including its core services, architecture best practices, and security features.
- Experience with big data technologies, including Apache Spark, for large-scale data processing and analytics.
- Expertise in building data-driven applications, ideally within finance, banking, or related domains, with an understanding of financial planning and analysis workflows.
