Charlie Health is looking to improve access to mental health care through the development of high-quality, scalable cross-platform mobile applications.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience building and delivering mobile applications in production environments for both iOS and Android.
- Expertise in React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript and a solid understanding of native build processes for iOS and Android.
- Proven ability to build and own CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
- Experience instrumenting and monitoring cross-platform mobile applications with tools such as Datadog or Sentry.
- Strong understanding of mobile design principles, UX best practices, and platform-specific considerations.
- Familiarity with Expo and its suite of tools for managing and deploying React Native applications.
- Experience with React Native best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain high-quality, scalable cross-platform (React Native) mobile applications from the ground up.
- Define and establish the technical direction, architecture, and best practices for cross-platform mobile development.
- Own the entire lifecycle of mobile features, from ideation and design through development, testing, release, and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and iterate on mobile features that deliver user and business value.
- Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented mobile engineering culture.
- Leverage data, user feedback, and analytics to continually enhance and refine the mobile product experience.
- Drive improvements in mobile development processes, tools, and workflows.
