Peraton's Modeling & Analysis (M&A) team is seeking an analyst to optimize GEOINT data flow and enhance National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) architecture by analyzing end-to-end GEOINT mission performance, supporting data delivery, architectural design, and system workflows.
Requirements
- Experience with large datasets, data modeling, and performance analysis
- Strong skills in dashboard development and data visualization
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and programming languages
- Experience with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, D3, ggplot).
- Experience utilizing multiple big data technologies: Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, HBase, MapReduce, Spark, Kafka, Sqoop.
- Experience with SQL, Spark, ETL.
- Experience with extracting, cleaning, and transforming large transactional datasets to build predictive models and generate supporting documentation.
Responsibilities
- Design and conduct trades and modeling of new GEOINT capabilities, delivering predictions and recommendations to enhance NSG architecture in hybrid (cloud and datacenter) environments.
- Analyze large-scale data sets (billions of records) with categorical, temporal, and geospatial features using statistical tools and programming languages.
- Develop and enhance dashboards that provide clear visual summaries of performance data, trends, and mission insights.
- Perform data mining, training set creation, and exploratory analysis to support key decisions.
- Evaluate and apply industry best practices and performance metrics to improve dashboard reporting.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define and solve complex problems using big data approaches.
- Present technical findings and actionable insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior government leadership.
