EPAM Georgia is looking for a Senior Liferay Developer to design and develop portal solutions that deliver rich features, usability, and high performance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise-level Java development
- Strong background in Java/J2EE application design and development
- Proficiency in OSGi or similar modular frameworks
- Knowledge of MVC design pattern and frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
- Skills in web UI development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with the Liferay platform, including version 7.x DXP
- Experience configuring Liferay sites, permissions, portlets, themes, and WCM features
Responsibilities
- Design and develop portal projects with a focus on usability and site performance
- Support web portal activities ensuring feature-rich client experiences
- Deliver solutions aligned with requirements and project schedules
- Create and execute traceable unit and integration tests
- Maintain efficient operation of Liferay portal environment following standard guidelines
- Develop portlets, custom themes, and web content management features
- Implement logging, usage metrics, audit trails, and analytics components
