i3 is searching for a Senior Linux Administrator to support the Missile Defense Agency Information Management and Software Services (AIMSS) effort and design and implement a Missile Defense System with multiple layers of protection.
Requirements
- Senior knowledge and experience of Linux operating systems (RHEL).
- Experience with different database systems (PostgreSQL and MySQL).
- Experience with container solutions (Podman).
- Experience with Ansible playbooks.
- Must hold an approved DoD 8140 certification - CompTIA Security+ CE.
- Must have an approved Linux Operating System Training Certificate.
- Knowledge of current systems and applications.
Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and maintain standardized Linux Operating Systems (such as RHEL 9) in various technical use cases.
- Build and maintain virtual machine Linux golden images from source code management.
- Integrate Linux operating systems with Active Directory environments utilizing tools such as SSSD.
- Maintain software repository mirrors utilizing Red Hat Satellite servers and custom scripts.
- Integrate multifactor authentication, CAC/smartcard PKI and certificate management in a mixed Windows/Linux environment.
- Perform Linux system configuration, patching, and vulnerability remediation utilizing Ansible, Terraform, Chef, GitLab, or other automation tools.
- Apply security controls as defined in DISA’s Security Technical implementation Guides (STIGs).
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience required.
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Must reside within a 75-mile radius of Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville AL or be willing to relocate prior to start date.
