Hitachi Energy is looking to solve the problem of managing, distributing, and optimizing energy markets by hiring an Energy Systems Integration Engineer to work on cutting-edge Energy Market Management Systems (EMMS)
Requirements
- Proficiency with Ansible, Python, and shell scripting
- Experience with Oracle databases and enterprise software environments
- 3+ years of experience in Linux system administration and automation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Linux system administration
- Experience with automation tools
- Experience with database tuning
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain large-scale Linux-based EMMS environments
- Automate system configuration and deployment using Ansible and scripting tools
- Optimize system performance and reliability through OS and database tuning
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the software stack
- Support system testing including Factory and Site Acceptance Tests
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of system processes and automation
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
