The Treasury program is seeking a Systems Administrator to support Linux and Windows environments, ensuring optimal system performance and adherence to security compliance standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of extensive hands-on experience and deep expertise with Linux internals, system architecture, performance tuning, and security.
- 2+ years of experience with Windows Administration, including scripting.
- 1+ years of experience with DNS Administration
- 1+ years of experience in core networking technologies.
- 1+ years of experience performing or supporting Windows and Linux vulnerability scans and executing remediation activities.
- 1+ years of exposure or training of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk).
- 1+ years of exposure or training in Cloud Technical Architecture and cloud system administration.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support both Linux and Windows operating systems, ensuring optimal system performance and adherence to security compliance standards.
- Apply patches, monitor vulnerabilities, and coordinate with the Oracle cloud provider and the Treasury team to remediate findings.
- Participate in and respond to security data calls; document security controls and system changes as required.
- Engage in transparent and customer-centric collaboration with Treasury teams, ensuring proactive communication regarding progress updates and key technical decisions.
- Support DNS configurations and networking infrastructure.
- Leverage SIEM tools such as Splunk to monitor system logs and security events.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in alignment with FISMA, NIST, and other federal security frameworks.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- US Citizenship is required (required by the federal government for this position).
- MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply.

- 6 months of experience working transparently (on camera, if remote) and effectively with government stakeholders.
