Requirements
Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain critical risk and fraud-detection applications and services, including idea generation, architecture, design, development, and testing.

- Design, implement, and manage machine learning-based security solutions to prevent customer attacks, ensuring continuous performance monitoring and issue mitigation.

- Continuously iterate on machine learning models to enhance precision and recall, optimizing them to meet performance criteria in terms of accuracy and latency.

- Lead the end-to-end development process to deliver high-quality solutions that meet specifications, align with the architectural vision, and adhere to all applicable standards, covering all phases of solution development.

- Construct ETL pipelines using technologies like Spark, Python, HIVE, or Scala to process transaction and account-level data and standardize data fields from diverse sources.

- Experiment with and develop custom algorithms using state-of-the-art techniques for modeling and scoring, leveraging machine learning, data mining, and statistical methodologies.

- Establish data governance and data management frameworks to efficiently organize and operationalize machine learning pipelines.

- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a machine learning engineer or research scientist-related occupation

- Provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members to enhance their technical skills and professional development

- Communicate status, issues, and risks in a detailed and timely manner to relevant stakeholders

- Present technical solutions in business terms to non-technical stakeholders

- Position reports to the Austin, Texas office and may allow for partial telecommuting
