The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will develop cutting-edge systems to address challenging issues in online safety across various content types at a large scale.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying large-scale machine learning systems in production environments.
- A proven ability to develop robust, scalable solutions for complex, ambiguous safety challenges.
- Experience working across modalities such as text, images, or 3D data is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain end to end machine learning systems to detect and remediate problematic or abusive content on Roblox.
- Innovate on detection strategies in a rapidly evolving landscape, using data-driven approaches to creatively and strategically identify emerging threats.
- Shape the team’s technical vision by helping define the roadmap, establishing foundational architecture, and driving key execution milestones.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, setting strong technical standards and fostering a culture of collaboration and learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Moderation Operations, Product Management, Data Science, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful, community-focused solutions.
