Anduril Industries is looking to solve the problem of transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology, specifically in the area of computer vision and machine learning for defense technology
Requirements
- Strong technical foundation in machine learning principles and algorithms
- Strong foundation in computer vision fundamentals, including both classical techniques and modern deep learning approaches
- Proficiency in Python and PyTorch or equivalent deep learning frameworks
- Experience with the full ML development lifecycle (data preparation, model training, validation, deployment)
- Understanding of how to optimize ML models for real-time or resource-constrained environments
- Experience with real-time ML systems (NVIDIA deployment stack, ONNX, TensorRT, model quantization)
- Familiarity with C++ for performance-critical applications
Responsibilities
- Develop machine learning solutions for advanced sensor technology from concept to production
- Optimize existing object detection algorithms and pioneer ML-based image enhancement techniques
- Translate sensor capabilities into robust ML models that perform in real-world conditions
- Identify and develop novel ML applications across Anduril's product portfolio
- Work closely with hardware engineers to develop state-of-the-art imaging systems
- Develop and deploy ML models for real-time or resource-constrained environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge defense technology
Other
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong technical communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy
