Anduril Industries is a defense technology company aiming to transform military capabilities with advanced technology. The Imaging team specifically needs to tackle complex problems in computer vision, perception, and sensor data to develop state-of-the-art imaging systems for significant security challenges.

Requirements

  • Strong technical foundation in machine learning principles and algorithms with at least 2 years of experience building real-world ML systems
  • Strong foundation in computer vision fundamentals, including both classical techniques and modern deep learning approaches
  • Proficiency in Python and PyTorch or equivalent deep learning frameworks
  • Experience with the full ML development lifecycle (data preparation, model training, validation, deployment)
  • Understanding of how to optimize ML models for real-time or resource-constrained environments
  • Experience with real-time ML systems (NVIDIA deployment stack, ONNX, TensorRT, model quantization)
  • Familiarity with C++ for performance-critical applications

Responsibilities

  • Develop machine learning solutions for advanced sensor technology from concept to production.
  • Optimize existing object detection algorithms.
  • Pioneer ML-based image enhancement techniques that push the boundaries of what's possible with our sensors.
  • Translate sensor capabilities into robust ML models that perform in real-world conditions.
  • Identify and develop novel ML applications across our product portfolio.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong technical communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
  • Knowledge of ML Ops tools and practices (experiment tracking, model versioning, CI/CD for ML)
