Toyota Financial Services is seeking a Senior Manager, Cloud Engineering to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of core cloud platforms that power critical business applications and infrastructure, driving innovation and scalability to ensure cloud environments are secure, reliable, and automated.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in cloud computing, with deep expertise in AWS platforms and cloud automation.
- Strong scripting and automation skills to streamline manual tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Hands-on experience working within CI/CD environments, enabling rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Expertise in cloud security, identity & access management, and secrets management to protect critical assets.
- Experience with multi-cloud environments or additional cloud platforms beyond AWS.
- Familiarity with vendor management and contract negotiations related to cloud services.
- Advanced degrees or certifications that deepen cloud expertise and leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud foundations using industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like OpenTofu, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation to automate cloud provisioning and management.
- Design cloud services that integrate seamlessly with Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, enhancing developer productivity.
- Lead cloud security initiatives by implementing best practices, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee cloud performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization to maintain high availability and scalability.
- Document architectures and share knowledge through training and workshops, building a culture of learning and excellence.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives to keep Toyota Financial Services at the forefront of cloud innovation.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 5+ years of proven leadership managing technical engineering teams, driving projects from concept to completion.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence and partner effectively across diverse teams.
- Ability to work in a team environment built on teamwork, flexibility, and respect.
