Ministry Brands is looking to solve the problem of designing, managing and maintaining Azure/AWS data warehouse projects and providing meaningful visualizations for statistical modeling, prediction and varying trend analysis for faith-based, non-profit and for-profit organizations.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience modeling, querying and analyzing large datasets using SQL
- 6+ years ETL/ELT experience
- Strong background in Fabric and Azure development including PySpark Notebooks, T-SQL, C, REST API Ingestion, and HTML
- Comfortable building, integrating, troubleshooting pipelines
- Azure, Microsoft Fabric, or other relevant certifications highly desirable
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or analytics, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience (10+ years)
Responsibilities
- Architect and Lead Implementation of Lakehouse Solutions
- Design, build, and optimize scalable Lakehouse architectures on Azure with a focus on integrating data warehouse and data lake paradigms.
- Lead the implementation of end-to-end data pipelines leveraging Microsoft Data Factory (ADF) and Microsoft Fabric.
- Establish frameworks and best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable data models and pipelines, leveraging Fabric’s robust capabilities such as Dataflows, Pipelines, Notebooks, and Lakehouses.
- Define standards for data modeling, version control, and documentation across projects.
- Integrate on-premises and cloud-native data sources, ensuring seamless data movement and transformation.
