The O2C Global Finance Operations organization's Trade Promotion Management (TPM) Reimbursements Deductions Settlements team needs to support the North America Operating Unit for the BODYARMOR brand by overseeing the execution of trade funding for national bottle/can customer programs and ensuring accurate allocation of trade fund expenses while maintaining compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Contractual funding administration with heavy Excel and Power BI skills.
  • Settlement and reconciliation of national bottle/can customer programs on behalf BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition, ensuring compliance with customer promotion agreement terms & chart of authority;
  • Manage the monthly analysis and reconciliation of BODYARMOR planned promotional events and actuals maintained in multiple systems (i.e., Marketing and Accrual Reimbursement System (MARS), SAP, trackers, etc.) and resolve data integrity issues; includes management of customer payments, audits, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations;
  • Responsible for the oversight of a managed service provider (Genpact) and performance relative to service level agreements (SLAs):
  • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in the bottle/can customer funding processes and participate as a subject matter expert in ad hoc projects to automate and improve processes; lead cross-functional collaboration meetings to support implementation and integration of new business, systems and processes;
  • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded and reported in compliance with Company Accounting Policy and GAAP;
  • Ensure accounting controls are operating effectively for existing processes;

  • The person in this individual contributor role is responsible for overseeing the execution of trade funding for national bottle/can customer programs for BODYARMOR, as well as the accurate allocation of trade fund expenses while ensuring compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
  • The person in this role must be able to understand, interpret and administer customer trade promotion agreements and have the ability to address and resolve issues.
  • The person in this role must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, must have an excellent customer service aptitude, an ability to manage the funding administration of legal contracts, proactive and effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams, exceptional attention to detail skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Establish/maintain partnerships and routines with internal clients, sales teams, and finance/RGM teams in support of customer funding processes for all customer payments and settlements, including internal client reporting of actual expenses; influencing to achieve desired results; timely identification of risks and opportunities; recommendations to mitigate risks and capture opportunities;
  • Develop annual service level agreements with key stakeholders and determine process improvement initiatives necessary to achieve and maintain service levels;
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
