Capital One is looking to expand its Enterprise Services Risk (ESR) organization with a focus on attracting innovative, pioneering, collaborative, and highly skilled professionals to operate at the forefront of risk management, providing support for novel and developing technologies, as well as critical business strategies. This role specifically aims to support Capital One Intelligent Foundations & Experiences (IFX) and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML) business and technology teams, ensuring risk solutions are in place for impactful and strategic work including Generative AI.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Risk Management, Process Management, Project Management, or a combination of these
- At least 5 years of experience in Technology, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a combination of these
- At least 5 years experience managing audits and regulatory engagements
- Risk Certifications (CRISC, CISM, CRCM, CIPP, ABA Risk Mgmt Certification)
- At least 3 years of experience planning and leading technology risk assessments
- At least 2 years of experience working on Generative AI initiatives
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute AIFX team vision and deliver on enterprise and team objectives by working with the IFX & AI/ML teams
- Partner with IFX & AI/ML and leverage a trusted advisor model to support business initiatives, issue management, process improvement, control testing and related risk assessment activities
- Partner with regulatory relations and the Enterprise Services Risk (ESR) central audit team to lead & support audit & regulatory engagements
- Ensure independent escalation of risk management gaps, issues, and concerns, including emerging risks and regulatory focus areas
- Consult on Risks across the first line of defense business partners providing advice and guidance as needed
- Develop and help to deliver senior level risk management reporting and communications
- Continuously look for ways to improve and innovate in our approach to risk management.
