Logitech's Creative & Design team is looking for an Industrial Design Manager to lead the design vision for personal workspace products, ensuring they are innovative, user-centric, and meet customer needs.
Requirements
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Rhino, SolidWorks) and rendering tools (e.g., Keyshot).
- Experience with hands-on model making and prototyping is a plus.
- Well-versed in user-centered design methods and techniques, with a solid grasp of the latest consumer electronics technologies and manufacturing processes.
- Experience designing consumer electronics or workspace peripherals.
- Familiarity with global design trends and consumer preferences, particularly Asia
- A strong portfolio showcasing innovative, commercially relevant product designs.
Responsibilities
- Drive the design vision for personal workspace products, from initial concept to mass production.
- Lead a cross disciplinary team of industrial, user experience and CMF designers, fostering a collaborative environment that values creativity, learning, and growth.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, exploring new materials, technologies, and design approaches.
- Craft beautiful solutions: Deeply understand the relationship between form and function.
- Craft narratives around your designs, clearly articulating the value and benefits to stakeholders across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with product engineering, marketing, and other teams to ensure a seamless product development process.
Other
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial/Product Design or a closely related field, coupled with 7+ years of experience in industrial design, including a proven track record of leading and mentoring design teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely. English fluency is a must.
- A passion for mentoring and developing others, along with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve shared goals.
- Ability to translate and communicate design ideas through inspiring and compelling storytelling.
- This position offers an annual base salary typically between $168,000 & 262,500, depending on location and experience.
