Marriott is looking to fill a Senior Manager, Interior Design position to provide and manage interior design services for new construction, renovation, and conversion projects across Luxury brands in the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) region.
Requirements
- Strong background in FF&E selection and specification.
- In-depth knowledge of lodging development, design and construction and ability to take a leadership role in the development of site planning, due diligence, design execution and construction management.
- Knowledgeable about innovation & trends both in & outside of industry, with a focus upon Luxury design
- Understands architecture documents and contract documents
- Knowledge of FF&E specification software
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office, scheduling, project & database mgmt. software (e.g.: AutoCad, Bluebeam, Adobe)
Responsibilities
- Manages the complete design process and documentation package for interior design of a hotel project commensurate with the hotel brand image of excellence in quality of design and aesthetic appeal gaining the trust and respect of both internal and external customers.
- Reviews and comment on interior design drawings and specifications submitted by Interior Design consultants within the time constraints, ensuring that the designs are brand compliant and on strategy for all areas of existing and new development hotel projects.
- Provide overall direction to professional design teams as to the design strategy of new and acquired properties while establishing brand standards, and operational acceptability within reasonable financial constraints.

- 40% business travel required.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the design field in total, preferably in the Luxury hospitality design industry.
- Experience with new builds, conversions, and renovation projects.
