Requirements
- Deep expertise in formal Lean Manufacturing tools such as Standard Work, Problem Solving, Variation Reduction, etc.
- Proficiency in CAD tools, ERP/MES systems, and data analytics platforms.
- Experience with smart automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 methodologies.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA, OSHA, and UL regulatory standards.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with data analytics and predictive production environments.
- Experience with MES integration and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of manufacturing engineers, senior engineers, and technicians; provide coaching, mentorship, and career development to build organizational capability.
- Lead the optimization and implementation for manufacturing process improvement and standardization in support of business goals, new product introductions, and capacity scaling.
- Architect and implement advanced manufacturing systems, including smart automation, robotics, MES integration, and data analytics to enable predictive, data-driven production environments.
- Support and lead optimization initiatives, including standard work, line design, takt time optimization, and waste elimination across all manufacturing areas.
- Sponsor major capital projects from business case development through procurement, installation, qualification, and ramp-up; lead equipment strategy and technology roadmap development.
- Lead structured problem-solving efforts to systematically reduce variation and improve performance.
- Ensure engineering compliance with internal quality systems and external regulatory standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA, OSHA, and UL, where applicable.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering required; Master’s degree (MBA or M.S. in Engineering) and/or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing process engineering, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership or managerial role.
- Excellent communication, leadership presence, and stakeholder management skills; effective at influencing executive-level decision-making.
- Demonstrated career ambition with a track record of growth and increasing responsibility; highly promotable with the potential to take on broader leadership roles within a fast-paced, high-growth organization
