Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of process analytics, quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools relevant to a manufacturing environment, including implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 standards.
- Proficiency in utilizing Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) tools, including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Control Plans, to proactively identify and address potential quality issues in manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience in conducting Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) to ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurement processes within the quality assurance framework.
- Functional knowledge of statistics.
- Functional knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc), including excellent Excel skills and experience using Power BI.
Responsibilities
- QA Strategy Deployment: Formulate and implement a comprehensive operational strategy to drive continuous quality improvement initiatives within the Operations organization, ensuring overarching quality strategies successfully transition into operational plans with specific objectives.
- Quality Talent Development: Identify and cultivate top talent within the Quality Assurance function, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in quality assurance, staying abreast of industry best practices, standards, and technological advancements and ensuring the greater quality function is well-versed in the latest quality methodologies and tools, facilitating a high level of technical proficiency.
- Performance Standard Management: Set the quality standard for performance within the team and ensure that all internal processes and requirements are carefully followed.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and trends through feedback from both internal production groups and external customers, analyzing the data and initiating preventive actions to mitigate quality issues before they escalate.
- Root-Cause Analysis: Lead an advanced problem-solving process that uses various systematic techniques to identify root causes of quality issues, communicating necessary enhancements to cross-functional teams to implement effective countermeasures.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze quality feedback and metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in a quality leadership or related role in the electrical industry.
- Great project management skills, able to successfully lead project teams through ambiguity and constantly changing business needs.
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to lead, guide, motivate, and delegate to deliver results, build teams and capabilities, embrace change, drive decisions and results, embrace culture and inclusion, and exhibit integrity.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening, and presentation).
