Capital One is looking to leverage its internal Salesforce solutions and expertise to address the data management needs of other businesses accelerating their cloud and data journeys, by bringing some of these tools to market as enterprise B2B software solutions. The role will provide technical leadership for designing and implementing Salesforce and Integrated application solutions across Capital One Software.
Requirements
- At least 8 years experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Experience Cloud)
- At least 3 years of experience in an architectural leadership role
- At least 4 years of experience designing multi-cloud data models and scalable integrations (REST, SOAP, Mulesoft, Kafka, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
- At least 3 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, OnePipeline, Copado/Flosum)
- ADM 201- Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant certification
- 5+ years experience in enterprise data architecture, API management, and identity/security (SSO, OAuth, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of APEX, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and SOQL
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end Salesforce architectural strategy across Sales, Service, Revenue Cloud, Marketing, and AI/Einstein use cases.
- Define data models, integration patterns, API frameworks, and governance standards to ensure a scalable, secure, and future-proof platform.
- Balance innovation with technical debt management, ensuring sustainable delivery.
- Lead and mentor Salesforce developers and admins, instilling best practices in coding, design patterns, and DevOps.
- Partner with Product Management to translate business requirements into robust Salesforce solutions.
- Act as a bridge between RevTech, Platform, and System Integrators, ensuring architectural consistency.
- Establish and enforce architectural guardrails across multiple Salesforce orgs and connected platforms (GitHub, OnePipeline, Data Lakes, MDM, AI/ML).
