Arvest is looking to hire a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead a team of software engineers in delivering high-quality software products and services, while fostering an environment of continuous improvement and managing team resources and budget.
Requirements
- Proven technical leader with a background in Fiserv Signature, RPG, and SQL.
- Experience with modern programming languages such as Java, C-Sharp, and Python
- Strong understanding of software development and deployment processes and best practices
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, cloud architecture, and application security best practices
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with modern front-end development frameworks such as React or Angular
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy software products and services while actively contributing to the development process as a hands-on technical leader.
- Establish software development methodologies, processes, and standards that drive quality, speed, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Leadership to set engineering strategy and direction.
- Effectively lead roadmaps, advising partners proactively of project statuses, risks, and support needs.
- Coach and mentor team members in Agile best practices and methodologies.
- Manage the software development budget and track progress against key performance indicators.
- Resolve incidents and defects by agreed upon SLA's.

- Must possess strong project management skills, including the ability to effectively coordinate engineering resources and drive large-scale initiatives.

- The standard working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST. Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to support project demands is expected.
