SoFi is building out a new team to develop crypto products and services for its members, aiming to re-enter the crypto space and expand product offerings in areas like investing, transfers, payments, and custody.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating scalable, mission-critical systems.
- 4+ years of experience managing teams.
- Experience hiring, training, motivating, monitoring, and coaching team members.
- Experience with Agile SDLC methodologies.
- Understanding of blockchain fundamentals and distributed ledger technologies.
- Hands-on experience working with digital assets (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins).
- Familiarity with custody, settlement, and clearing of crypto transactions.
Responsibilities
- Lead one or multiple full-stack development teams through the full development lifecycle from project requirements to deployment, ensuring deliverables are met.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through building and deploying, as well as continual improvement and evolution.
- Shape and support the team culture with an emphasis on continual improvement, learning, and fun.
- Generate ideas for new initiatives.
- Take initiative and produce timely results in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, deliverables, and goals.
- Grow the team – understand what your team needs and define how to find and assess candidates.
Other
- BS Degree or equivalent from a fully accredited college or university preferred.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others, and get things done.
- Strong sense of responsibility; driving initiatives from inception to completion.
- Ability to hold others accountable.
- A desire to learn.
- Knowledge of crypto-specific regulatory environments (e.g., SEC, CFTC, MiCA, etc.).
- Exposure to crypto trading platforms, market data, and DeFi protocols.
