The primary role of the Technical Product Management function within the Global Data and AI Platform team is to define the vision, strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for the Data Analytics & AI platform product and capabilities. Works closely with customers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand and define customer needs in these designs. Features are aligned to a timetable and areas of responsibility.
Requirements
- Extensive experience working and innovating on a centralized Data, Analytics, and AI/ML Platform supporting diverse applications and developers, analysts.
- High degree of technical understanding to be able to closely collaborate with Engineers, data scientists, and Architects in both strategic and tactical discussions.
- Good understanding of technologies and tools in Datalake, BI, Data Ingestion, Data Analytics, ML Models, and AI (e.g. Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, Kafka, dbt, trending AI/ML tools), and productivity tools like JIRA, ChatGPT, Microsoft Office.
- Good understanding and experience with regulatory compliance, like GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
Responsibilities
- Key responsibilities include the creation and oversight of high level Data and AI solutions roadmaps; understanding customer and stakeholder needs and opportunities; translating needs and opportunities for Engineering; managing conflicting business priorities; maintaining a prioritized list of customer and market requirements for Data and AI platform; and working closely with the development teams to ensure that product features and capabilities under development meets customer and stakeholder needs.
- Enforce global Data and AI safety, privacy, and security standards and policies, ensuring compliance with relevant international regulations and industry best practices for Data and AI. Proactively influence organizational adoption and adherence to evolving standards.
