Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Product Design, with demonstrated success in launching and scaling multiple 0-1 products
- Sharp problem-solving skills
- Experience in successfully launching and scaling platform products
- Experience working on and shipping consumer-facing mobile apps
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and establishing an iterative roadmap and experimentation culture.
- Experience in areas like fintech is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead UX efforts within a cross-functional team, including strategic Influence on product direction, planning, participating in delivery, and presenting effectively to stakeholders up to the executive level.
- Guide a team of product designers to build and deliver the best possible core experiences for Venmo consumers, championing best practices in process and methodology to deliver against business KPIs and customer needs
- Act as a strategic thought leader, guiding a team of product designers to deliver flawless execution while collaborating closely with your cross-functional peers to ensure that designs align with business goals.
- Be part of the Venmo design team that works across all end-to-end experiences for Venmo consumers and work closely with your product and engineering partners to inform and drive the strategy and roadmap.
- Help us find and develop world-class design talent.
- Coach designers and partners in empathizing with customer problems, diagnosing them with data, and treating them through design.
