Ross is looking to improve marketing effectiveness and ROI for both the Ross and dd's discounts brands by leveraging data-driven decisions. The Senior Marketing Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing campaign performance, brand health, and delivering actionable insights to optimize marketing investments and support strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups/matches, and advanced formulas.
- Data driven approach to solving problems and making decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with marketing platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite).
- Proficiency working with PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python) helpful but not required.
- Access and extract data from large customer databases using SQL or drag-and-drop query tools.
Responsibilities
- Support development of key marketing KPIs based on marketing objectives and develop measurement strategies that deliver clear, actionable insights to drive marketing performance.
- Analyze campaign performance and uncover trends across channels including TV, streaming TV and audio, social media, mobile, web, email, and influencer marketing.
- Create summary materials (e.g., Excel reports, dashboards, presentations) that connect findings to broader business goals.
- Anticipate analytical needs and proactively explore opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness, such as identifying new tools and new analysis.
- Design and deliver recurring reports (monthly, quarterly, ad hoc)
- Build and maintain databases to support accurate and timely reporting.
- Maintain MMM model inputs and outputs using Excel and internal data systems.

- 5 years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong drive to ensure data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, adapt to changing priorities, and focus on the most important work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively; able to build and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
