Microsoft AI (MAI) Advertising & Monetization needs to drive long-term business and customer growth for its Small and Medium Business (SMB) & Marketing segment by creating self-serve data analytics, insights, and reports. The goal is to enable the business to understand its ecosystem, react quickly, and drive growth through data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in scripting and data modelling in Python.
  • 3+ years’ experience in data analysis using SQL.
  • 3+ years' experience in PowerBI and Analytics on Azure Data Platform.
  • Experience with marketing attribution, media mix models, and multi-channel ROI measurement.
  • Experience with measurement strategies across full-funnel media campaigns.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 4+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis OR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 2+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis OR equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 8+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis OR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 6+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis OR equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis, create data models, and develop actionable insights to support decision-making for business leaders across Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering.
  • Identify and leverage appropriate data sources and contribute to developing recommendations.
  • Translate media performance into business context with impactful recommendations for marketing partners.
  • Analyze performance data, brand lift studies, and campaign reports to extract meaningful insights.
  • Determine appropriate analytical techniques and critically evaluate assumptions.
  • Share and simplify relevant findings and insights, ensuring presented results are accessible and accurate.
  • Support and consult with other teams and identify relevant data-driven recommendations.
