Bandwidth is looking to solve the business problem of driving growth through world-class digital experiences on their external-facing websites by hiring a Senior Marketing Web Developer to own the development and optimization of these sites.
Requirements
- Proficient in HTML, CSS (LESS/SASS), PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress theme and plugin development
- Proficiency in version control (Git) and modern development workflows
- Hands-on experience setting up and maintaining web applications, including security, hosting, and user management
- Strong foundation in web standards, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility
- Knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.2) and inclusive design practices
- Best practices for performance optimization, scalability, and security
- Expertise with CMS platforms, especially WordPress
Responsibilities
- Build, test, and maintain responsive websites using modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress.
- Work with WordPress (Timber/Twig + ACF) to develop new components, templates, and pages.
- Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code that aligns with industry standards and project requirements.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility with a strong emphasis on performance and scalability.
- Translate designs and prototypes into fully functional, visually accurate web experiences.
- Conduct thorough and complete QA of own work to ensure production-ready code with minimal defects.
- Monitoring and optimizing site performance to achieve specific loading time targets or conversion rate improvements

- Work closely with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business goals.
- Participate in project scoping, providing accurate effort estimates and technical recommendations.
- Be part of a collaborative team that values continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Communicate progress, blockers, and technical insights clearly with management and stakeholders prior to dates being hit.
