Piper Companies is seeking to develop, maintain, and test microservices built on the MEAN stack
Requirements
- Strong experience with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
- Proficiency in developing RESTful web services.
- Preferred experience with microservice-based architecture and building secure systems.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience with cloud computing, AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with version control, Git
- Experience with backend development, frontend development, full stack, agile development, DevOps, continuous integration, continuous deployment
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, test, and document high-quality software solutions.
- Solve complex technical challenges and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Develop software components, specifications, and design documentation.
- Maintain and manage corporate software libraries.
- Diagnose and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application design and usage.
- Communicate complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
- 5–7 years of experience designing and developing web-based solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
