MEMX is looking to solve the problem of developing and maintaining internal and external facing web applications to support its core trading system and serve its customers
Requirements
- 10 or more years of web development experience
- Experience architecting and supporting large applications
- Proficient in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS
- Experienced in REST APIs, NodeJS, React, Angular, or an equivalent web framework, git
- Familiar with Gradle, CI/CD, GraphQL, and web development tools such as Babel and Webpack
Responsibilities
- Work on MEMX’s main product, the user portal to our trading platform, creating improvements and building products for internal and external users
- Work with Product Managers and stakeholders to understand the complexities of our markets
- Work with a team of experienced, high-performance developers and leaders to design best-in-class systems
- Architect, develop and maintain innovative solutions to deliver exceptional features and support to our customers, including our internal teams
Other
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or a comparable discipline
- Strong professional and interpersonal skills including exceptional customer service, creative problem solving, and effective written and verbal communications
- Broad systems thinking – ability to understands the connections and relationships across functions and entities for both internal and external constituencies
- Experience with financial markets, distributed systems and/or high-performance web applications is a plus
- Ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to succeed as a self-starter in a dynamic environment
