LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Java Middleware Engineer to develop and support microservices that will augment and transition their internal and external web services middleware platform (ESP). This platform is critical for delivering real-time, cross-industry insights into consumer identity and behavior.
Requirements
- Current and extensive experience as a Java Development (experience with Spring framework a plus)
- Current experience with writing Web Services – Ideally SOAP Web Services with e XML to structure requests and responses. Or RESTful Web Services with JSON, though XML
- Experience with RDBMS and object store persistence (MySQL, CosmosDB, etc.)
- Experience with Unix / Linux Operating System
- Experience in transactional low-latency API development
- Experience with C++, JSON, XML, REST
- Experience running in Azure Kubernetes Services
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining middleware services that connect internal and external applications (e.g., fraud detection, identity verification, credit scoring).
- Building APIs and integration layers to allow communication between databases, services, and third-party systems.
- Configure, optimize, and maintain middleware platform
- Implementing data encryption, authentication, and authorization protocols within middleware components.
- Ensuring integrations comply with regulations such as FCRA, GLBA, GDPR, CCPA.
- Supporting secure API management and auditing.

- Possess the ability to work in ambiguous situations; take a high level assignment and work the detail to produce a successful solution.
- Ability to effectively mentor and train less experienced personnel.
