Anduril Industries is looking to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology, specifically in the area of autonomous vehicles and payloads, to address national security requirements.
Requirements
- 7+ years working with a variety of programming languages such as C++, Rust, Go, etc
- Experience executing UAS programs
- Experience with customer-oriented UI/UX development
- Experience leading small teams of cross functional engineers to design, build, and deploy software systems
- Experience with Radar or EW System
- Experience implementing robot or autonomous vehicle testing frameworks in a software-in-the-loop or hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) environment
- Familiarity with industry standard monitoring, logging, and data management tools and best practices
Responsibilities
- Help set the strategic vision for part of Anduril’s simulation, test, training, and deployment environments for unmanned systems and their payloads.
- Build and integrate model-, software-, and hardware-in-the-loop components by leveraging first and third party technologies related to simulation, data management, compute infrastructure, networking, and more.
- Manage the various needs of both internal and external stakeholders to build and integrate tooling suites which evaluate autonomy and vehicle performance across a diverse range of conditions and reference missions.
- Collaborate with internal team members and external partners in the autonomy domain to build technologies and processes which enable users to safely and rapidly develop and deploy autonomous systems at scale.
- Travel up to 25% of time to test and deploy capabilities at Anduril test ranges and customer-directed sites.
- Work full time, on-site with fellow Anduril team members.
- Lead the design and build of digital engineering infrastructure and environments for heterogeneous unmanned systems.
Other
- Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret clearance
- Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
- High ownership and autonomy across the end-to-end lifecycle of software development
- Travel up to 25% of time to test and deploy capabilities at Anduril test ranges and customer-directed sites
- Work full time, on-site with fellow Anduril team members
