Building GOLD, the next-generation super shopping app, a powerful, intuitive AI shopping agent designed to streamline how people discover and buy products online, and help them get the best deals on the products they love, through a seamless and delightful shopping experience.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in React Native and strong experience with TypeScript/Node.js
- Solid understanding of iOS-specific tooling (Xcode, provisioning, TestFlight) and deployment processes
- Experience integrating with REST APIs
- Strong grasp of mobile performance optimization, offline-first design, and UI/UX best practices
- Comfortable working across the stack with backend engineers when needed
- Bonus: experience with e-commerce or high-traffic consumer apps
- Bonus: previous experience with Expo Framework
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of our flagship iOS app built with React Native
- Build and maintain high-performance and scalable mobile experiences
- Define the architecture and technical roadmap for the iOS app as we scale
- Own critical product features end-to-end, from prototype to production
- Help set and promote mobile engineering best practices, code quality, and performance standards
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other engineers as we grow the team
