Cognizant is seeking a seasoned .NET Developer to join their engineering team to build scalable, high-performance applications and drive technical excellence.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in .NET Core, MVC, and greenfield development of .NET applications
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and either React or Angular
- Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or Jenkins
- Proven track record in enterprise CI/CD implementation, configuration management, and build automation
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable applications using .NET technologies (MVC and .NET Core preferred)
- Work hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular
- Guide and mentor team members through technical challenges and impediments
- Establish and promote best practices for unit testing, code reviews, build setup, and configuration management
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and release engineering

- Onsite position requiring in-person presence several days a week in a client or Cognizant office located in Atlanta, GA or Raleigh, NC.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring developers and resolving technical roadblocks
- Experience driving process improvements in software development lifecycle
