LMI is seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to support their Enterprise Technology Services Infrastructure Solutions group, to design, engineer, test, implement, and manage information technology (IT) networking systems and services.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience designing, executing and supporting networking solutions.
- Working knowledge of digital certificates and their administration.
- Advanced experience with Palo and Cisco firewalls.
- Advanced experience with Cisco Switches and Routers.
- Advanced understanding authentication protocols.
- Experience with Wireless LAN Infrastructure.
- Experience with F5 Load Balancer.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for engineering and implementing LMI’s networking capabilities to include being the engineering point-of-contact for resolving reported performance or delivery issues.
- Responsible for producing network designs and engineering artifacts.
- Responsible for ensuring that all networking solutions comply with industry and Government-mandated security protocols, controls, and best-practices; working closely with our InfoSec Team for documenting controls and providing metrics to comply with audits and performance levels.
- Responsible for ensuring project deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Responsible for escalating issues, problems, risks, and constraints to the appropriate levels for clarification and resolution.
- Responsible for keeping abreast of new and emerging technologies.
- Responsible for upkeep of IT equipment in support of LMI’s secure environment to include applying required STIGs on all network equipment.

- Must be able to use Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, and other products to produce content and communicate with LMI leadership and clients.

- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated networking concepts to LMI leadership and customers.
- Ability to attain a government clearance up to and including Top Secret, for which you must be a US Citizen.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology
