Fannie Mae is looking to solve problems related to IT infrastructure environments, specifically in network engineering and cloud infrastructure, to ensure the stability, performance, and security of their systems and to support the company's mission of making homeownership possible.
Requirements
- 2 years of Enterprise Network Security Engineering experience
- Experience with VPN Technolgies e.g. Zscaler, Citrix VPN
- Experience with performance tuning and load balancing Technolgies
- Experience with Routing, Switching, Firewall, and Checkpoint technologies
- Experience in the cloud networking space, e.g. core routing and switching.
- Experience responding to incidents and mitigating infrastructure errors.
- Experience supporting automation and IAC specifically, Terraform.
Responsibilities
- Ability to support Data Center facilities and remediate various network incidents
- Develop moderately complex solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components.
- Understand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms.
- Draft and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Independently monitor advanced performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions.
Other
- This position has a Tuesday through Saturday Schedule and will have on-call responsibilities
- Experience in on call engagement as needed for network impacting incidents
- Planned change implementation support as needed
- Understanding of Data center infrastructure, cabling and environmental requirements.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Cloud or Networking certifications
