DEFCON AI is looking to solve complex problems through advanced mathematical modeling and AI techniques.
Requirements
- Programming experience in Python and/or R
- Version control (Git)
- Database (SQL, MySQL)
- Common data science libraries (e.g. Pandas, Numpy)
- Knowledge and experience with statistics and data science
- Cloud-based development (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc)
- Deployment (Docker, Kubernetes)
Responsibilities
- Formulate and solve optimization problems
- Develop and deploy optimization, simulation, and data science models to production
- Apply AI/ML techniques to solve complex problems
- Build ETL pipelines and perform database administration
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to address complex problems
Other
- Secret Clearance
- MS or PhD in mathematics, operations research, physics, computer science, industrial engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of experience using analysis to solve complex problems
- Willing to relocate to (or already reside in) Omaha, NE
- Unlimited PTO, with manager's approval
- Occasional travel to our offices in Washington D.C or alternative locations
