GDIT is looking for a Senior PeopleSoft Developer to develop/modify solutions for their PeopleSoft environment in support of their customers by providing a system that facilitates their daily work.
Requirements
- PeopleSoft Development
- PeopleSoft HCM
- PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM and/or Payroll data models
- PeopleTools 8.5x or later
- Oracle or similar relational database required
- Demonstrated experience with SQL performance tuning and optimization
- PeopleCode, Application Engine, Workflow, Component Interfaces, PS Query and SQR
Responsibilities
- Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
- Applies advanced knowledge to all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Applies advanced knowledge to analyze user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs
- Applies advanced knowledge to software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs
- Provides advance analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status
- Provides advanced guidance on the software or system for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updates
Other
- 10 + years of related experience
- Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
- North american payroll processes including tax updates, year-end processing, reverse/adjustments, overpayments and garnishments
- Strong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated ability to lead high-visibility efforts
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with end users
