Bounteous is seeking a Senior AEM Back-End Developer to lead custom platform development for enterprise-level customers, taking projects through the entire life cycle, tackling problems, and resolving complex issues in a distributed environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional hands-on AEM development experience
- Built sites using AEM Cloud Service or AEM 6.5
- Proficiency with AEM, Java, Sling
- Solid understanding of systems design, caching, and persistence
- Familiarity with modern programming architecture
- Worked with Agile development, preferably SCRUM, and Unit Testing
Responsibilities
- Lead development for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle and understand the entire software development process from design to development to deployment to maintenance.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Provide constructive feedback in code reviews and help others to become better developers.
- Prepare and produce releases of software components.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
