Wells Fargo is seeking to ensure the stability, recoverability, and performance of high-volume, high-priority trading platforms within the Wealth and Investment Management Technology organization.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with Splunk or other logging/monitoring tools
- 4+ years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- 4+ years of experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- 4+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MongoDB
- Experience with .NET applications
- Familiarity with platform engineering concepts and operational best practices
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first line of triage for application issues, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime
- Monitor and maintain the health of trading platforms, ensuring real-time recoverability
- Contribute to platform improvements by identifying recurring issues and driving process enhancements
- Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
- Design complex system upgrades
- Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
Other
- 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Flexibility to frequently be on call beyond normal working hours
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture
