At Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), the business problem is to create and enhance a high-visibility, collaborative web application used in the day-to-day mission by the customer as well as across the broader Intelligence Community (IC) and other partners, enabling data to be updated and shared in real-time to drive more informed and timely decisions in matters of national security.
Requirements
- JPA / Hibernate Database Development Experience
- RESTful Services
- Java Message Service (JMS)
- Mongo DB
- Relational databases such as PostgreSQL or CockRoachDB
- Data modeling using relational databases for Spring
- Spring Boot
Responsibilities
- Provide Back-End software development and technical services to support the Analytic and Engagement Applications (AEA) organization
- Collaborate with other software development teams developing web-based user interface applications promoting service interoperability, integration, and reuse
- Perform code reviews
- Debug existing software and correcting defects
- Write & review software system documentation
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
- Develop services for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
Other
- Twenty (20) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Hybrid work authorized (Telework hours will depend on tasking for customer duties)
