Raytheon is looking for a Senior Principal Software Engineer to support its radar programs and the Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) Software (SW) Department. The MDS SW mission is to provide world class Radar and Command and Control (C2) Software for our customers' wide array of Surveillance and Warning Systems, aligning to Agile and DevSecOps principles for high-frequency, high-quality deployments.
Requirements
- Experience developing software with agile methodology in a team-based environment.
- Minimum 10 years relevant work experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in software architecture, development, test, and/or integration using C, C++ or Ada.
- Strong skills using debugging tools to quickly identify and fix software bugs, as well as optimize code for performance.
- Exposure to radar software development and/or radar concepts.
- Proven experience with current Missile defense programs with specific experience in large, complex systems.
- Experience working in Agile environments such as scrum, scrum at scale, SAFe and DevSecOps.
- Experience with tools such as Atlassian Suite (e.g., Bitbucket/Artifactory, Confluence, Crucible, Fisheye, Jira), Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible.
