Raytheon is seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer to support its radar programs and the Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) Software (SW) Department. The MDS SW mission is to provide world-class Radar and Command and Control (C2) Software for surveillance and warning systems, aligning with Agile and DevSecOps principles for high-frequency, high-quality deployments.
Requirements
- Experience developing software with agile methodology in a team-based environment.
- Experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in software architecture, development, test, and/or integration using C, C++ or Ada.
- Experience using debugging tools to quickly identify and fix software bugs, as well as optimize code for performance.
- Experience working in Agile environments such as scrum, scrum at scale, SAFe and DevSecOps.
- Experience with tools such as Atlassian Suite (e.g., Bitbucket/Artifactory, Confluence, Crucible, Fisheye, Jira), Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible.
- Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous development environment; experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Redhat and Linux Operating Systems.
